Does anyone know a safe chemical I could use to make a solution more basic? I need something that wont be harmful to my body. I have a product that is much too acidic and I need to raise its pH to make it neutral. Would something like NaOH be too harmful to my body?

Is this for an oral product. NaOH isn't harmful per se, it is the final product that you need to worry about.

Calcium Carbonate Sodium Hydroxide is a strong base, leave it alone.

It depends on what it is added to. If you add NaOH to HCl in equimolar amounts you'll get salt water. On the other hand if you mess it up you'll hurt yourself.
