  • Opinions on progress so far....

    Hey all ... I'm currently in my 6th week running QV TEST EN 250/ QV DECA 300. I started out running 250mg TEST/week & 300mg DECA for 4 weeks then bumped TEST to 400mg on week 5, 500mg on week 6. DECA has remained at 300mg/week. I will be running the cycle for 12 weeks (11 w/DECA). I have gained between 8-11lbs (fluctuates, water I think). (Posting in the Cycle Journal)
    I was wondering if this progress sounds about right. This is my first cycle. Training & diet are on course, though I feel like I'm choking down the last few meals in order to get the calories I need. I train 5 days a week.
    I only started gaining weight at about 4.5 weeks so the gains have mostly been in the last 2 weeks. Any ideas as to how much weight I can expect to gain?

    Well, both test E and Deca take about 4 weeks to kick in as you've found.

    Guessing what you'll gain is pretty tricky. Everyone is different. Typically people will gain 20 or 25lbs on their 1st cycle if everything is in order (training, diet, rest, etc).

    Do you have your Post Cycle Therapy planned out? Along with everything you need? After a 12weeker with Test E and Deca, your definately going to want to make sure your PCT is in good order so that you'll keep those gains.

    Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

      Thanks guys, I have plenty of Nolvadex & Clomid and am also planning to run some Tribex 500 or Mag 10. I am going to run PCT for about 4 weeks and see how I feel. Will that be long enough?
      I have plenty of Nolvadex in case of gyno symptoms but I have had no problems yet so I haven't taken any. Should leave me with plenty for PCT if I need to stretch it out longer.

        I really like your picks: Test E and Deca, and QV Products are a perfect mix of good quality and a fair price.

        I would have run dbol for the first 2-3 weeks. I guess it's more a a way to quickly motivate you to train hard and have you recover more. Since you're eating and training properly, I suppose you didn't need the dbol: hats off to you!

        Keep up the good work and I hope you gain at least 20 lbs. on your first cycle.
        I know nothing about any of this insanity... it's just a fun game to me.
