  • Last injection went really wrong... help!

    Ok, so here's the scenario:

I did my 7th injection of 400mg QV Test Cyp. and because of circumstances, I had to rush it a little so I injected a little quicker than usual. It didn't feel right and hurt more than usual, but eventually the pain subsided. However, the next morning I woke up and my boxers were stained with a huge patch of blood and oil around the injection site. It looks like a lot of the oil came out . Has this ever happened to anyone!? Any thoughts or recommendations?

YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TIME. NEVER RUSH. WHAT YOU INJECTED JUST CAME BACK OUT.I WOULD TAKE ANOTHER SHOT. BUT WHEN YOU SAY ALOT WAS IT ALOT OR DID IT JUST SPREAD A LITTLE. A LITTLE OIL COULD HAVE CAME OUT AND SPREAD TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS A LOT.TAKE YOUR TIME NEXT TIME.

Yup.. you've got to take your time.

Also watch that injection site... I never pull up the boxers until the site has stopped bleeding or leaking oil.

You've got nothing to worry about, but you probably wasted a good portion of that injection.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Well, the only bright side is that it could've been worse, I suppose. I'm definitely going to find a more relaxed environment to inject because this obviously isn't a process that can be rushed. Thanks for all the replies.

That's really strange. The oil coming out? Did you bury the needle?

Yeah, it was well in the muscle. I did nothing different during this injection outside of the fact that I injected more quickly, so that is suspect right away. Like GirlPatriot said, less oil might have come out than originally assumed, but it looked like a nice blotch of blood and oil to me. There was clearly more blood (a patch about the size of your palm) and oil was mixed in with it.

After injecting, i always have a cotton swab with alcohol on it and press it on the inject spot for a few minutes before dressing and if it is still bleeding alittle, put a bandage on it. The method GP talks of is the best method to alleviate leakage. ( Hold skin taunt around inject site while injecting deep into muscle almost all of the 1.5 inch of needle if doing glute, and release skin when pulling the needle out. I find almost no bleeding or oil leakage doing this.)
