  • Vasectomy & Gear?!?

Hello people, I was wondering if anyone has had an experience in this area. I was finally called to be put on the schedule, it takes like 6 months for the process from start to finish, the surgery is only 15 minutes. The doctor wanted me in next week and I was like "Great!". Then I reconsidered since I'll be 4 weeks into my cycle so I had him reschedule me for late July (his last appointment). By this time I will be 5 weeks into PCT. I guess I could bump it further when I'm closer to the appointment but all the paper work I signed may expire by then. Do you think 5 weeks into PCT is long enough? Do you think the gear would have any effect at all on the surgery? I think it might be a safe bet to wait. What do you think?

No problems bro, I had a non-scalpel done while on and trained and banged the next day. If your getting the regular method done you might be in a little pain for awhile. Good luck it's worth it!

I think, but i don't know for sure. I thought before you go into surgery that you have to tell the dr/surgeon if you have used any steroids, as they are a thinner and they have to know this or they will not know how to control the blood during prep. I would hold off untill all aas is completely out of your system. Unless you are having the other method done. I know this is not major surgery though.

Does AAS thin the blood? I had not heard that b4. The Doctors will not perform the surgery if I've taken ANY blood thinners; such as aspirin, ibuprofren, etc., within 20 days prior to the appointment. Looks like I'll be rescheduling

Rollplayer...I think you will be fine. You can always discuss with the physician ... say "off the record" and most understand.

Oh yeah, remember your icepack (frozen peas works well) afterwards
