Why is it so difficult to keep gains from a bulking cycle?
Even with proper ptc and diet gains from bulking cycles like deca/test/d-bol cycle seem to disapear over a period of 4 months or so after cycle is completed why is that???????
what would be best cycle for keeping gains long after cycle is over?
I gained 23 pounds from November 2003 until February 2004 {about 16 weeks} whilst staying in the same waist size in jeans-34". I went from 202 to 225 pounds at 5'10" tall. I lost about 4-6 pounds post but I used what some may consider overkill in my post. I took an ECA stack of 650 mg aspirin, 50 mg of ephedrine, 5 mg of yohimbine, and 400 mg of caffiene 3 times per day. I ran Clomid for 6 weeks starting at 300mg on day 1, 200 mg on day 2, and then 100mg for the next 19 days. Then I ran the clomid at 50mg per day for the remainder of 6 weeks which coinciced with the lenght of my ECA stack. I also ran nolvadex at 20mg daily for 6 weeks along with arimidex at 1/2 mg EOD.
This is the same PCT a friend uses when cycling off after the 24-36 week cycles that he does.

I ATTEMPTED PCT THIS TIME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALL MY CYCLES QUIT TAKIN THE LIQUID NOLVA AFTER A WEEK CAUSE IT TASTED LIKE ASS. GUESS WHAT AS USUAL I STILL KEPT ALL MY GAINS. SOME PPL ARE JUST LUCKY I GUESS. TRY INSULIN BUT RESEARCH IT AND U BETTER DAMN WELL THINK ABOUT IF ITS WORTH THE RISK. DONT FORGET ONE SCREW UP WITH INSULIN AND IT COULD MEAN DEATH.

What are you calling " proper diet"? You will have to take in enough calories to support the added muscle or else it will just fade away.
first thing that comes to mind, especially with the traditional compounds used in a bulking cycle, is they all promote water gain/bloat to a large degree, this water will bleed off mostly during pct but i am sure a little in the coming months and even with the best pct and diet that is inevitable.
Its all about diet,and training. If you dont continue to lift heavy, your body doesnt need to be packing all the excess muscle around,and goes catabolic. If you dont eat like you did while bulking, you will lose it.
