Just so you guys know, anyone who has a latex allergy can inform the health care professional administering meds and they are obligated to change the needle on the end of the syringe. Even in the age of latex free products they still don't take chances. As for the service life of a needle use them once and discard. The exception is if you are using orals and you use the syringe to draw up the liquid. You should however clean the barrel well before re-use.Comment
