  • diet when comming off a cutter?

i know it's best to increase cals when comming off a bulker and mass is the main objective. But when comming off of a cutting cycle, is it best to continue the diet, or should you get off the diet and increase your cals? currently following a ckd diet and on test/eq/winny cycle. thanx so much for any input you can give.

I know once I went straight into a high calorie diet (not the cleanest one in the world either) right after a cutter and I had 20 #'s back on me in no f'in time at all!! For me, I will try 5 days carb minimizing with 2 days of carb loading each week and not drop my cardio below 5 times a week and see if I can add some mass cleanly. It has been too much work getting this 40#'s off to have it come back again.

Most important thing is too figure out what your own BMR is, basic metabolic rate, ie, what per day calorie count do you need to maintain, that's what you should be shooting for.

Knowing your BMR, you just adjust up for bulk, down for cutting, and back too BMR in between.

Coming off a ckd you just don't want too go calorie crazy, on ckd you calories should be right around bmr, adjusting up or down depeinding on how much your working out.

At this point best guess is too keep calories the same and change up nutrient component, watch the fat intake, you don't want too go crazy and gain back.

Also, watch the fast food binging, you can rebound fast if you don't pay attention.

      good luck

I try to eat just as clean a for a couple of weeks following my cycle and keep up with the cardio. In my personal experiences, I've seen some serious results when working my ass off post cycle, especially with EQ and Winstrol.

so it sounds like you guys are saying to be more concerned with staying lean, than worried about losing muscle?

i guess what i'm trying to ask is, after a cutting cycle(where we are just maintaining the previous mass), are we at risk of losing the same amount of mass/weight as we would after a bulker(where giant increases in muscle mass have taken place?

          i hope that makes sense

No, after a cutter going back up in calories you are not at risk of losing muscle, you were possibly going to lose muscle due to lack of calories, now you will have plenty, so no you should not lose muscle, you should actually gain some from good old muscle memory replenishing all the nutrients available to the muscele.

            lol, does that make sense?

            hope I understood you.

say i were to just continue my cutting diet which is about 500 cals below maintainance. would i be at a risk of losing a lot of muscle post cycle, or because i was cutting and not adding a lot of mass, would i be able to maintaine my mass? thanx so much guys

neversatisfied - If you're done cutting, you should be done period. You're body gets accustomed to anything you do for a length of time. I'm not saying go on the Mickey D's diet plan - just change it up and start throwing carbs back in. Just be smart about when and how much and you'll be fine.
