I are kinda stupid!
I was kind of in a hurry yesterday and since I had two injections lined up for that day I didn't wanna fool around. So, the first injection was in my glute. I aspirated and drew some blood but instead of doing the intelligent thing (sticking another spot) I just pulled the needle out a little farther and injected.(thinking it would be out of the vein). It was definatly out of the vein, unfortunatly it was out of the muscle too. So in short I gotta decent sized knot from a blood clot and a 2cc sub-q inject. Do I have anything to worry about here?

Had the exact thing happen to me in the same spot. 2CC Decca 300. Ended up with a Huge knot in my right Glute. Felt like I had a thick wallet in my back pocket. Some bruising. 3 weeks later its down to a very small knot and almost gone.Comment

Should of pushed the pin further in not out, but I have done this and had rather very good luck with a ziplock bag with ice in it and put on the knot while watching tv or something for about half hr or so, for a few days and it worked well. Others will say heat, but this is what worked for me.Comment

It doesnt really hurt much it just looks funny. you can see it sticking out of my pants when Im bent over.
