    I can't tell you much.

But do a search of this forum using the word "bloodwork" I think you'll find alot of info.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

I take a small amount of Depakote as a mood stabilizer

Ok, I gotcha. Depakote is Divalproex sodium, which is Valproic acid. It’s primarily used to treat epilepsy, which is why I thought you might be epileptic.

Valproic acid is pretty nasty stuff, and it usually promotes fat gains. Have you had any problems with it in that respect?

GAINED huge amounts of weight when i was on higher levels. Finally got to the point where i told my doc either lower the dose or take i will take my self off of it. I was already a large man but since i started lifting and dieting in December i have lost 36 lbs so far

Your doctor’s choice of Depakote makes me believe that he is probably an older man – as Valproic acid is a very old-school medication.

Other than that, I don’t know why your doctor would prescribe Depakote as a mood stabilizer, but he’s the doctor, so he probably has a good reason. Still, you might want to talk to your doctor about possibly switching to Norpramin (Desipramine). Then again, if the lower dose of Depakote is working without any problem, you may as well stick with it.

That’s great. Keep up the good work.
