  • Calf injection blood!

Friday morning when I was spotting Test into the calves, the left went great as normal, and the right seemed to be, pain free all good I asperated and everything, perfect, then when I pulled out, it was just flowing blood like crazy, I promptly covered it with a cotton swab, and it just filled it up, so I moved to the finger for a good minute or two, then it clotted and did its thing, but it scared the shit out of me, and bled like something I have never seen in my life!

My conclusion is that I went through a vien right below the skin and so the injection was fine, but when I took the needle out it then just started squirting.

Also i use a 5/8 inch needle for calf injections!

I wouldn't do calf injections, there's a good chance of blood clot.

I still want to know how it is that a calf injection makes for a good chance of giving you a blood clot.

I hate calfs I used to shoot there when I ran out of spots...I to would bleed here more than any other spot. I also have a good amount of pain the next day in them.

I love calf injections, great results with test and it doesn't hurt at all the next day for me, it was just one bad experence that scared the shit out of me! Next time prior to injection I think I might tie it off to make sure I dont go through a vein!

but now I see where the prick was I have a vein that is just glowing and see where it came from. So I just need to be more careful! I think the reason why it wasn't out was I inject right when I wake up and my heart rate is still low and so therefore the veins are not out as much!

I do quads and calves when I inject and have no problems. Calves are very dense muscles and have some good viens in them. The only time I worry about any blood is if I asperate blood. Then I just move over and reshot.

yea, I think i did the same. Tomorrow I'm going back to the calves, got a great spot where I have no surface veins. I scouted those bad boys out this time! vascularity sucks sometimes!!!
