    Ouch!!

    We just had a member post in the secure forum. He was worried because he ordered from this "source" a while ago, hasn't received anything, and now the website seems to be down.

    It was the website of a very well known scammer

    What to do? It's pretty hard to warn members who don't join the board until after they've ordered their gear.

    Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

    I agree.. And always do source checks before you order.. This is a must and a common pratice in the game now.........

      if there werent people to fall for it, there wouldnt be scammers.. its too bad, but i guess some people have to learn it the hard way.

        ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO ME AND MY BUDDIES SAVED UP FOR A HUGE ORDER AND SENT CASH TO THE NETHERLANDS. GUESS WHAT? NOTHING. AND THEN I STARTED LOOKIN ON THESE BOARDS AND SAW HIS EMAIL ON THE SCAMMERS LIST.

        I WAS BIT ONCE TOO. BUT NOW ALWAYS DO MY SOURCE CHECKS.
        YOU CAN NEVER TELL WHAT HAPPENS IN THE WORLD TODAY WITH PEOPLE. GREED IS A POWERFUL THING.

          We all learn the hard way sometimes. Maybe not about gear.. but about something. Like the time I got arrested...
