Glutamine is a naturally occuring amino acid. You get PLENTY through meat and protein shakes. In my very educated opinion, taking any amino by itself is a real waste of money. The body doesn't really absorb amino acids that well by themselves. The body much prefer amino uptake through peptides, or chains of amino acids. This is why whey protein is so great...it is a collection of many peptides with all the naturally occuring amino acids.
