i like to use flat bench as a warm up. its a good way to warm up the overall chest. but inclines db or bb presses or flies are the meat getters! ive never gotten much out of declines though, just dont get any kind of pump from them? also it wouldnt be a chest workout without my final set on the pec dec for 25-30 reps

My flat form sucks.....I hurt my nack and traps constantly, not to mention my left arm tends to dip, I never notice it on incline or decline. Lately I have been trying to use more DB's cause my spot is about as constant as a fart

in my opinion the best way to increase the size of youre chest is through incline. i always do flat, and always flat first, but i gained the most size w/inclines. i always use a db for inclines, and i love it.

anytime It's chest day, I start with flat bench, four sets of it too. I also do fly's and hammer strength with, although every other wekk I will alternate. One week I'll do fly's and hammerST, the next week I'll do weighted dips or close grip presses. I love any kind of bench, that's what got me a good size chest.

If its good enough for Arnold, its good enough for me. I have read a few of his articles and he used the bench religiously. Who can argue with the results. He had a bad ass chest! IMO

Guess im late in the discussion but i prefer decline over flat bench anyday of the week. Decline bench together with incline DB´s works best for me.

IF - We are talking 45lbs plates not the 10lbs plates you toss around
