do you guys like doing them on the lateral or medial part of your calf? i always did the medial part, but did my first lateral one the other day and liked it better. it hurts just the same, but i dont think that part is really used as much while walking..

I break my calves out into combo's of upper-lower Inner-outter. Poke more nerves in my calves then anywhere else (just get a little twitch), and I avoid winny in my calves as well. Other than that I have never ran into any problems in my calves

I did my first claf injection in the medial portion of my calf, and now I'm about to do it on the outside lateral part. I had no problems. More then happy.

I did the outside lateral part and loved it. Could never be happyer. It took me a good time to decide to do it, but was worth it. I got great results from both sides, and now I am switching weekly from medial to lateral, instead of just medial.

I always inject the outside portion, never had any problems. I never go over 1c in the calves.

            Re: Calf injections

I've done both inside and outside of calves, with no problems, other than the area is very vascular, you have to be careful. I've hit veins more than elsewhere, both gone through them and into them. I tend to find it best to inject more sideways than straight in, if that makes sense to anyone. Maybe that's what you are talking about with lateral. I aim from the side to the middle, both from the outside and inside, with excellent success. don't go high on the inside though, there's an artery there somewhere.
