Congrats on the progress. After a few months (3?) of being off, get your testosterone checked by a doc and make sure it's not too low.

On a side note, it's funny how you never know who uses steroids.... you look like the typical middle-aged American (in regards to your face and home). Congrats, and best of luck. Stick with creatine (SWOLE v2), protein, and other general health supplements.

Thanks for all the help guys.

When I go to the doctor, what tests should I have him perform?

To answer an earlier question: When I came off for the 4-month break, I seemed to recover quite nicely. I lost 4-5 pounds but there were no drastic changes. The biggest problem was mentally in that I could look in the mirror and all I could see was an old, fat, slumped-over, white guy standing there. I continued my training while lifting about the same weight BUT with what seemed like much more effort and a WHOLE lot less enjoyment. That lasted for about two months and then I "forgot" how good it felt to be pumped up and I no longer missed AS.

And yes...I am your average guy working 40-50 hours in a plant living in a nice middle class neigborhood and doing some counseling with prison inmates 1-2 nights per week. My justification for 1st using AS was that these guys in the prison will listen a little better if I walk in with 20" arms and a set of traps. But, it is hard to counsel someone about drugs and alcohol if you yourself are using them. IMHO that is very hypocritical.

Hopefully, I can get those 20" arms naturally-only 3.5 inches to go

      Thanks Guys,

Yeah...I agree with you about that. I was using AS to improve my body and I wasn't using the rent money to do it either. But, if I had been arrested for possession of AS, it MIGHT have weakened my ability to be taken seriously about other substances.

But I agree with what you say. If alcohol and tobacco can be legal, steroids certainly should. Over 500,000 died last year from tobacco and obesity {and all the diseases connected} took the lives of 400,000 people.

No...the prison counseling is not my job-it's a sideline. I once was addicted to drugs and alcohol and I enjoy trying to help others get free from those types of addictions. My regular 40-50 hours a week, 6 days-a-week-job is in a steel plant.
