clom and nolva post deca?

My friend ran a deca only cycle for about 30 days. He follow with 5,000 iu's hcg then started clomid theropy. Question is if he needs to take nolva with the clomid and why?

I think he's already overdone the PCT as it is.

With only a 30 day cycle, HCG isn't needed. Clomid should be more than enough.

Tell your friend the next time he uses deca, to run it for at least 8 weeks. The long acting ester in deca means it's just starting to kick in good after 30 days. Some test would be a good idea also..

thanks bro. Whats your take on short cycles? Can they be effective with the right drugs?

I think they can...with the right drugs. But I think Deca isn't one of those drugs. Short cycles need to be run with steroids that have a short half-life. Deca has one of the longest half-lifes of them all.

orals, test suspension, fina, test prop, and a few others can be combined to make killer 6wk cycles, but as GG said, deca is NOT one of them

maybe npp in place of deca? its still in the same class as decs (a nandrolone i think) but with a much shorter ester
