  • Powerful Workout or Did I break something?

    Ok... My cycles in my sig and 2 days ago I had a workout that was 2.5-3hours and I don't talk at the gym. This didn't used to be that unusal but I'm coming back from 3 months of light weights because of a shoulder inury...

    But now my 2 fingers on my left hand feel like there asleep full time... I also have like no grip strength in this hand... I had great forearm pumps all workout but damn this is wierd...

    I did traps,bi's and rear delts...

    I don't think it's gear related because it's only 2 fingers...

    Anyone else have this happen before?

    you spent 3hrs doing traps, rear delts, and biceps? thats a little excessive IMO... dont know about the fingers.

      ITS THE NERVES IN YOUR SHOULDER THAT CAUSES THAT. MY HAND ALWAYS FALLS ASLEEP SINCE MY 2 SURGERIES ON MY SHOULDER

        First couple workouts back on cycle after a layoff.... It's probally a little over the top but it feels so good -J

                how many exercises and sets did you do? my endurance was SHIT after my 6 months layoff..

                  Recapping it is overtraining... but it was still a great workout...

                  Bi's
                  4 sets standing hammer curl DB
                  4 sets standing DB curl
                  4 sets cable straight bar
                  4 sets cable E-Z curl
                  Seated burnouts on an incline (DB)

                  Reardelt's
                  4 sets seated RD raise
                  4 sets bent over lateral raise
                  6 sets of external rotation w/ db standing

                  Traps
                  9 sets - Hammer shrug - up to 5 plates on each side and then back down
                  4 sets Seated DB shrug
                  4 sets Standing cable shrug w/ straight bar

                  There might have been a little more but this is all I remeber... Rep range was all over the place because I'm cycling and back from a layoff... -J

                  BTW - As far as endurance ephedra is wonderful

                    yeah its deffinetly some kind of nerve/muscle problem causing that. sometimes if a muscle is freaking out it can be penching on a nerve...

                    even on cycle that seems a bit excesive... im a serious follower of the less time means more results method of lifting. bust my ass for 30-45 minutes, call it quits. i used to pound my ass hour-hour and a half 4 times a week, minimum results. when i cut back, i blew up. just means scheduling your lifts a little bit more in detail before you go in.
