Injected too low?

I did my first quad injection tonight--
I injected 2cc of deca with a 23 1.5 needle--

If you are sitting down I injected about 6 inches up from the end of my knee---about 4 inches from the "top"(to the right) of my quad on the outside of my leg---It feels like someone punched my leg right around the site--nothing too bad--but I have a feeling I am gonna be hurting tommrw.

Is this too close to my knee--- I looked on siteinj.com and they were shooting alot higher on their legs.

Just wondering if where I shot is okay, or if I should shoot higher next time---
Other than the placement of the needle, it was alot easier than my glute(I shoot by myself)

right between your knee and hip crease is a good spot... i have always hated quad injects, they always feel odd to me....

I've shot all over quads, my favorite, just easier for me, sit down, ya da ya da, no different than any other spot sometimes you nick a nerve, etc.

Quad shots always make me sore......but I do them anyway...glutes and delts too. I personally think 1.5 inch pin was a bit much. For the quads use a 1 inch, that should be perfect.

i shoot quads all up and down, gotta vary where it goes you know
