Injected too low??

I did my first quad injection tonight after I did my glute injection--

I injected 2cc of deca with a 23 1.5 needle--


If you are sitting down I injected about 6 inches up from the end of my knee---about 4 inches from the "top" of my quad on the outside of my leg---It feels like someone punched my leg right around the site--nothing too bad

Is this too close to my knee--- I looked on siteinj.com and they were shooting alot higher on their legs.

Just wondering if where I shot is okay, or if I should shoot higher next time---
Other than the placement of the needle, it was alot easier than my glute(I shoot by myself)

when i just started doing gear i used to hit my quads 4-6in. above my knee... had no probs with it..... then after i saw few pix on 'where/how to inject' i moved bit up... slightly over the middle of ur upper leg... either in the center or slightly off to the right...

Thanks, it is kinda sore now, but I have a feeling it will be hurting pretty bad tommorow!

Oh well, it hardly bleed at all, unlike my glute shot right before--They seem to drip some blood out after injections--maybe I am going too fast--

I used to do quad injections way up by my hip. I was only like two inches from my hip bone before I realized I could hit some nerves up there.
