  • Here's my situation, are steroids an option???

I am 19 years old. 6'1"ft. 195lbs. Hockey is my life, it's what I want to do, I want to get a college scholarship for hockey in the next 2 years. This summer I will be trying out for some very competitive, high level teams that I must make in order to move on in hockey. Next season is basically a make or break year for me. Weight training has been a big part of my developement as a hockey player so far. I've had a great diet and training program all through highschool and last year. Coaches and scouts have told me I'm very close to the level I need to be. I know for a fact that more strength, power and speed would help my game a great deal. For the last 5 months I've been training hard for next years try-outs, and I will continue for the next 4-5 months. My question is could the right steroids help push me over the top and help me reach another level in my game as far as strength, speed and power. Any and all info would help me in this decision. Thanks alot.

19= too young for AAS. At 19 your hormone levels are high enough. JMO
Concentrate on the diet, not just quality, but quantity. Train hard, but do not over train. Listen to your body, and not your ego.

The best of luck to you!

Ive been weight training for 17 years..and Ive seen a few guys come and go...and if youre asking for an opinion, well..IMO, if you get into juice trying to accomplish something like what youre doing and word EVER gets out that youre on, or if it becomes obvious youre on, again, IMO and in the opinion of a lot of guys ive talked with through the years, anything you do thats pretty impressive ever again is qualified with the statement: "Well, you know, he's done steroids in the past, probably on them now, too." What Im saying is that your credibility is questioned alot of times even if you do something all natural once youve done juice. People tend to assume its the juice thats helping you- in the gym its one thing- but in sanctioned sports, that may or may not be cool. You should consider this.

Yes you are still young and I would go natural. Eat 5-6 times a day and get both quantity and quality since you want both speed and size. DO NOT OVERTRAIN IN THE GYM OR ON THE ICE. I made this mistake when I was your same age and haven't touched a basketball in 9 years. PM me if you need any help because I have been in your situation before.

With your testosterone levels I wouldn't be taking it either. Remember, when these guys say 'too young' what they're really telling you is 'you don't need it'.

Eat big, change up your training. Try core power movements. Forget muscle isolation routines.

                    Good luck.

i Played semi-pro and euro league football from the age of 19 to 24, and i never touched the juice. I played outside linebacker if you were wondering. I did'nt do my first cycle til after I stopped playing cause I aways thought it was cheating, besides that your too young find out your full potential before juice you'll be happier you did.

The right, LEGAL supplement cycle along with a rigorous training schedule could help push you over the top in my opinion. I would say just hold off for a few more years and do plenty of research before you decide to cross over to the darkside. With saying this, the odds are you probably won't because you already have a source in mind.

id say not to do it but then id be telling you not to do something i am doing right now. If you do decide to take the plunge, keep it to yourself and do your research first.
