wtf is this....
Aight, so i am injecting 4AD ED Mon-Fri. Either mon or tues of this week i hit my left glute, and it has been hurting but i thought this is normal because it usually hurts for a few days.. but yesterday it was just killin me and i went to the bathroom to go check in the mirror and my left glute is HUGE. Like it looks like i have a softball in it. I have tried heating my glute up to massage it out but it hurts incredibly bad. i dont know if this is normal or if i should get it checked out, my doc is pretty coo and my dad is a pharmacist but i dont wanna ask him because he will be like ya i told you not to inject this sh**. Advice would be GREAT. Thanks.

ya its been hirting for about 3 days.. but just 2 days realllly bad, if it is infected how would they go about treating that... just anti-biotics or what? ya i am gonna call my doc today and let him know whats up. -
Dude - I just had this same thing happen with a calf shot two weeks ago. A few days later - it was swollen up like a mofo! Went to the docs immediately and sure enough - it was infected. Took amoxicyllin for 7 days and it is as good as new.Comment

aight so went to the doc today, my doc made me go to urgent care because he was outa town, and the doc there, she thought there was an absess so she made me go get an Ultra Sound and so when i went back to her office there was none and she just gave me amocicilian and ib prophrin. then she was asking me why do you do this.. whats the benefit and all that stuff, shes all i think you should inject this stuff anymore, and i was just like well ya not there for a while but i got other sites to put it.. but ya anyway all is good and hopefully this will go away soon.Comment

Really?! The lady doc I saw just smiled at me and said "ya know....there are far better places to shoot than calves". Then she proceeded to show me where in the delts they do all of their IM injections. They also offered to do full bloodwork on me to make sure the stuff I can't see is in good shape.Comment
