Sense spotinjections is down.... And I didn't print the page can someone help me out.

I have been inj in my glute, and shoulder. I need to find out where to shoot in my quads. I have seen the spotinjection site and remember a little.

Does anyone have info on this.

Anywhere you have muscle. I would stick to the outer (vastus lateralis) portion. Once you do it, you'll find it to be pretty easy. Good luck to ya.

Thats what I thought. I m not scared of it, glutes are just hard to do by your self. Quads would def be easier for me. What size needle 1"?

I found this site. Sense spotinjections.com is down, this will show you where the muscle is. And a good place to see where you need to inj.

        Maybe this will help someone...

Also I read on another site to use a 1" and not to inject more than 2cc at a time.

1" or 1.5", which ever one you feel more comfortable with. I use 1.5 and bury it.

its easy to hit a nerve in the quad...I do sometimes don't freak out just move about half an inch away. If I go a little above the middle on the out sides it always works best for me.

i think spotinjections.com says to do it pretty much at a 90 degree angle. i like to shoot straight from the top and do it perpendicular. its easier to see veins that way. also, stay away from the medial side... thats where the most nerves are.

I always try to go at a 90 degree, but everyone that injects by there self knows thats hard to do. Other than the parts of the body you can see,lol...

So If I hit a nerve, I will def. know it, should I pull it all the way out and inject again, 1/2 an inch away?

Guys let me know if that type of web site is helpful. I will search for more like it.

Theres not alot of information out there on injections, as you can tell they probably don't want any. Hopefully spotinjections will get up and running again.

Stand up, place arms down at your side. Make fist. Where your fists hit your outter thigh is where you shoot.

                    1" works for me.

im sorry.. i wasnt clear. when i said 90 degree angle, i meant that if you are sitting down, youd be injecting the outer side. so the needle angle would be parallel with the ground. i like to inject the top of my leg... so they needle is perpendicular with the ground. its more visible, and you dont need to bend over to see what youre doing. just find the biggest part of the muscle.

Gunz that sounds good. I tried the position and it looks like a go. should I do it more to the side or on top of the muscle. I think sitting down would be better to relax the muscle. Does that sound good to you.

Ya you should sit down, standing up was just to find the right spot.

Sitting down also makes it easy to locate and miss veins.

I always hit from the side, as you sit pin and thigh should be parallel to the floor.

I commonly hit nerves in quads and calves (your muscle will twitch). I've always just pushed thru and have never had problems.

I've "heard" some guys complain of numbness in the area after hitting a nerve. Never happened to me, although I'll admit it's spooky to see your muscle move on it's own.
