  • High Blood Pressure!

I have been on 30mg Dbol ED, and 250mg Sust every third day with nolva ED for about a month. I am not retaining any water but have gained about 8 lbs. While training, I felt my heart skipping a beat every once and a while and some pressure in the chest. I checked my BP and it was very high ( 175/75 with a 72 heart rate ). Anyone have similar problems?? Should I dicontinue everything??

And I am not taking any ephedrine or clen just 1 espesso prior to training.

    Thanks for any help

He's been off dbol for a few wks? But he said he's only been on for a month?
Anyway, that is really high on the top one and normal on the other like Saturn said. Mine has been a little high on the top one also....143. I thought the Wal-Mart one might not be acurate becuase my arm is 17" and it is for 10-13 or something. However, at the doc I had the same reading. I would talk to a doc if I were him, and if his arms are huge then maybe he should by his own bp monitor. They are only about 50 bucks.

i was experiencing heart palpitations during my cycle and was asking about it on another board.. at first i thought it was from heavy androgens but i found out it was from anti-e's, after i stopped taking nolvadex they went away

Up your water intake and administer and AI to reduce edema(which could still be mildly present without notice)

        See the doc

172/75 is high, but what you need to realize is that hypertension is only a problem over the long term (were talking years here). There is a very slight chance you could have a CVA (stroke) if you systolic (top number) gets above 190, but like I said it is only slight.

I don't know your situation, but I would hazard to guess that your BP is not constantly that high, many things effect BP, stress, exercise, even the time of day.

Try this; take BP readings 3 times in one day; Morning, afternoon and night. The average of those 3 is a more accurate indication of what your BP is really like on a constant basis.

No salt and lots of water will help.

There are only 2 ways to treat hypertention-excercise and diet or meds.

If you are still really worried go to see your doctor.

Oh ya, and just to let you know I am not some average Joe, I am a nurse (with high BP) and I know what I am talking about.

          Good luck,

          sweet

Thanks for all the info, fortunately, I think I had a false alarm. I took jsjs24's advice and purchased a home blood pressure machine @ Walgreen's with a Large cuff ($70) . After several tests my average results were 122/76. Now I can go back to training full tilt w/ out worrying about blowing a gasket!

Thanks again for all the replies
