  • What's the deal with Winstrol V? I need leanness!

I'm a 22 year old male with no anabolic steroid or supplement use history. I'm 6'1, 195, and after 2 years of working out I'm starting to see some major gains. I train 5 days a week with at least 25 mins of cardio and 45 mins of weight training per session.

I'm extremely concious of my diet and consume very little fat while consuming large amounts of protein and nutrient-dense foods. I'm about as big as I want to be right now. I could use some more size on my arms and shoulders but by no means am I a bodybuilder. I seek lean muscle mass... I want to be ripped. Genetics has blessed me with a large frame so I'm trying to stay away from any bulking drugs.

A friend told me that WINSTROL-V is commonly used by bodybuilders to rip and tone while burning fat and adding muscle. Is there any truth to this claim? If not, can anyone recommend a supplement or AS that could help me reach my goals of leanness?

    Much love

Your diet is key bro. Winstrol can help don't get me wrong, but your diet will be the most important factor. It sounds like you should stay natural for a little longer if you're liking the gains. Then maybe some anavar and test prop or eq or something. But for now just keep training natural since you are not looking for size. Diet, rest, and training are the key....good luck!

Bro, you do not need AAS to get ripped. You seem to be doing just fine without the AAS so why poison yourself with toxic drugs like Winstrol?

If you want to get more ripped and need some extra help consider an ECA stack.

And "toned" is a dirty word around here, go wash your mouth!
I don't want to get toned, I just want to become a fucking freak.

I just work out because I want to look good with my XXXXL shirt on.

<laughs> Okay. Toned is now and forever stripped from my vocabulary.

I guess my issue is that I can see my muscles growing but they're forever obscured under a layer of fat. I can't seem to do enough cardio to burn it off, dammit... I know if I could kill that tiny layer of fat I'd see the definition I need.

Also, keep in mind I'm a total virgin when it comes to this shit... ECA stack? What the hell is that?

ECA stands for Ephedrine Caffeine Aspirin.

Combined with the proper diet and cardio the fat should burn off in no time.

Also try doing your cardio in the early morning about an hour prior to your first meal, it's the most efficient way of burning fat because your body will be using your fat stores as the fuel source rather than the meals you ate earlier that day.

                  Wicked advice

Man, you guys rule. Despite conflicting reports, the general consensus is that Winny's not for me. Guess I have to soldier on the hard way. Thanks for the advice regarding morning cardio, bud. I've read that in several places.

One more thing... I want to build muscle while at the same time lose fat. I currently eat 3 meals a day as well as 2 protein shakes. Am I taking in too many calories? I know I need the protein to build muscle, but will I really lose fat if I keep up the high-calorie diet? I'm not a chubby guy, it's just the spare tire around my midsection I'm concerned with. Rest assured I work hard enough at the gym to offset it... I think.

Dude - I eat 8 times a day and am in the process of leaning up. You should be shooting for a minimum of 6 meals/day (shake counts as a meal). My experience is it is difficult to drop fat without dropping carbs. With this said, when you do have carbs, they need to be of substance (like oatmeal, yams, potatoes, broccoli and spinach). When doing the shakes, stick to something like Isopure which is all protein (no carbs/no fat). Also, toss in 10 mg of glutamine with your morning shake and another 10mg with your after-workout shake.

DO EAT: skinless chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, vegetables, egg whites and in moderation: brown rice, brown bread, oat meal.

DON'T EAT: pork, beef, lamb, fruits, white bread, white rice, cheese & other fatty dairy products, pastry, anything fried, anything that contains sugar, anything that contains saturated fats (read product labels).

Also avoid beer, fruit juices and sugary beverages. Choose a protein shake with no fat and no sugar.

Take some extra vitamin C if you avoid fruits.

If you stick to that diet and do your cardio an hour prior to breakfast you will lose lots of fat in no time.
