The salaries are diff. depending on where you live and cost of living. Where I applied starts out at $35,000 and goes up every year you work with a max of I think $48,000 but then you have to add the benifits which are GREAT, vacation pay, sick pay, holiday pay all the overtime you want The best medical,dental, vision money can buy. And of coarse you have a gun and a badge that you are required to wear off duty and get paid to do so $1 a day a $365 check every year.
