the guy know how to use the calipers pretty good. but i agree that 9 point would be better. i will ask if he knows how to do that next time i get it checked.

I love the hydrostat. I do it every 90 days and always make sure the tank is at the same temp +/- 1 to 2 degrees for consistancy. It costs me 20 dollars for the test and I fast 10hrs before it and make sure not to work out the morning of the test. I won't use anything else. Fuck them calipers, it's too inconsistent. You got to grab at the right spots and sometimes you don't alway get the same person to do it, that is if you don't use it your self.

I’m not a competitor so I’m not terribly concerned with what my exact BF is, and I go more by how I look and feel than anything else.
Even so, I have friends at two very prominent universities nearby, and I have had my BF taken in the tank several times. That shit is a heartbreaker to say the least.
I see and hear people stating that they have 6 or 7 percent BF all the time, and I’m sure that they probably believe that they do, but the truth is that maintaining a BF that low on an everyday basis is not likely. It is possible if that person is an extreme ectomorph, but there aren’t too many extreme ectomorphs that are 5’10’ and weigh 250 pounds.
I have been offered to have the Body Scan done to me, but I’m not real keen on being radiated; not to mention the fact that the results will likely be more heartbreaking than the hydrostatic results.
