Riddle me this?????????

Have a friend who just had his test levels checked. He has had them checked 2 times - and did nothing to make them seem lower than they should be.

It was around 200-250

He has done maybe 2 cycles the last one being over a year ago. He is 27 years old. He is extremely strong, extremely horny and has no problems with erections and overall he feels extremely healthy. What would be the reasons his test was so low????? He is in the low range for a female. And why does he feel fine and "horny" while his test level is so low???????????

that is a good question......if he feels good with such a low test amount...he must feel great on cycle

yeah, but like i said it has been at least a year since his last cycle, which was relatively low - he went to the doc just to have every thing checked out. after he was low the first time he went back to make sure. He was not even looking for HRT and did not understand why his levels could be so low???

maybe his body responds better and faster to smaller amounts of test then someone elses does. each body is different...
right now alcohol comes to my mind.. i have some friends that get drunk of one beer... and others who it takes a 24pack.....

a year is a long time though for his test levels to be that low....do you know by chance what they were before he started gear?

blood or saliva, blood is more accurate.


your friend may have low test naturally. id imagine if he normally had high test, and the cycles caused them to be low, hed prob feel diff than before the cycles. but it sounds like hes functioning very normal.

its entirely possible that the same mg of test is used more efficient in his body than that of others.

I agree with Chicken, your buddy might have inherent low test. My best guess for him being so horny is that his shbg is at near optimum level even if his natural test level is low. He's not taking proviron is he?

Not alchohol or lack of sleep or anything that would lower it - that I could think of.

And no, it was not tested before.

I guess he has nothing to worry about since everything is fine.

yeah i would say if he feels good then he is ok

they did a test on elite USA olympic caliber athletes, and they had what would be considered low test levels, roughly about 60% if i remeber.

What was he on and for how long? I know of one guy from here and AF who was on a heavy androgen cycle for more than a year and his test levels were low and last I heard still hasn't recovered.

I found it very important to have Free testosterone/total testosterone blood tests performed two to four months post cycle as I feel Clomid doesn't necessarily restore you to normal levels. At least this is my case. My doctor has therefore prescribed androgel to get my test levels back to normal. When I'm in the midst of a cycle, I have the scripts filled, but save them until needed. My lowest test result was 187 and that was 4 months post cycle. Your doc might work with you on this one?
