eat bigger and tran harder. you haven't given the test a chance to kick in yet and you won't respond to the eq for maybe a few weeks. bro you've gotten great advise but IMO you're right on schedule. 7lbs is nice so far and you may see another 7-8lbs in 5 wks. don't sweat it. keep your head up. upping the dose after 5wks is for bros that aren't patient. you'll see. good luck on the cycle

As far as not having time to eat all day, Hell, 3 shakes is 150g alone! Although they are not as good as whole food protien, it is better than none.
Yeah, I know (understand) all about the protein factor, but with protein numbers like 200g and above, that's just really tough to commit to every day of the week.....and yeah, I'm much more hung up on whole foods rather than shakes that I just piss out
Well, I do have the next 4 weeks off from school and clinicals, so I'll see what shit I can stir up on the scale by the end of Jan
Oh, by the way......just last night I found 2-3 more lbs on the scale
(oh, and keep in mind I'm gauging this cycle off all the others i did with similar diet habbits, hmmm)

Add some shakes to your diet bro, you may not like them but you are not going to grow muscles without enough protein in your diet.
With 3 shakes a day you add 150gr of protein on top of your 170gr, that should help you grow a lot more than simply bumping up your test dose which is already more than sufficient for your 165lbs weight.I don't want to get toned, I just want to become a fucking freak.

I'm thinking my body might need more QV mg's compared to other brands....but I'll wait another 1-2wks before deciding."Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Yeah, your ass is busy, and thats a shit load of protein........you rely on shakes or what?

Shakes are a great source of protein bro. Some people try to get nearly all protein from their shakes which is a mistake but if you consume 300 grams of protein a day and half of that comes from shakes you'll do just fine.
170 grams of protein from solid food + 150 grams from shakes sure beats just 170 grams.I don't want to get toned, I just want to become a fucking freak.

You are not going to grow if your body does not have the proper fuel. You have a good cycle. Concentrate on the diet. I have never heard or read about anyone growing with a meager diet. Lots of protein! It is not as easy as just stick it and grow. Write down everything you eat for a week and post it. You should get more helpful advise with that route.

Blktrbo, who told you that shakes are meaningless? Post workout is when they are most effective, and that is all i consume a day , unless I cant get enough from meals, then i do drink a few extra shakes. If you dont like shakes, buy some vacume packs of tuna,or go to sams and buy a bulk pack of beef jerky and snack on it throughout the day. I have no problem getting 350g protien a day, and I work in a coal mine6-7 days a week,11 hors a day and have an hour comute time! Plus find time to take care of my house, yard, workout, and spend time with my wife and kids. So I really doubt you are to busy to eat!

hahaha........well, I'm 31 and I wish I had all my money back that was spent on protein jugs, creatine, Muscle-Tech, etc. ever since high school.
In my mid 20's I decided to spend money only on the protein jugs (thinking I couldn't go wrong with that). I would make 1-2 decent sized shakes per day and I have NEVER noticed a budge in my gains from adding these protein drinks. Now, I'm talking about trial and error with this stuff over the coarse of several years (on, off, on, off, on, off, etc).......I simply never noticed an ounce in gains with shakes, and never noticed anything less without them. Granted, I never drank 3-10 shakes per day because anything more than say 3 per day can get expensive (on a tight budget).
So, I got to the point where food started looking much cheaper, so my daily diet includes yogurt, good cereals, peanut butter - turkey - tuna sandwhiches - chicken in a can - all on wheat bagels, water ALWAYS every meal and through-out the day.......along with the other miscellaneous snacking/meals etc.
No, I know I don't eat 7000cals per day or 300grams of protein per day, but I do have a regular intake of good foods with an occassional junk food, and basically my diet is no different from when I gained 20lbs all the other times.
I do agree with what is being said in yall's posts, it's just that I posted this thread because I am comparing my QV results (so far) to my other cycles...........
And as far as diet goes, I certainly don't have the best, text-book diet, but I also haven't been doing anything less than before, so anything good or bad that I'll be noticing is based on brand name (QV), or doses per brand - I suppose. <-------- correct?
See what I'm getting at?.........any concerns I have with this QV are being gauged in comparison to my other cyces/brands/doses since the only difference this go-'round is the brand name (QV) and EQ being used
(but yeah, I could work on more food/protein overall (aside from brand and dose used). Basically, I'm thinking since I've gotten 20lbs with Brovel, Sterris (sp?) or Tokyo with X-amount of protein/meals, then I should (or exspect) to get 20 on QV with the same diet habbits......that's where my concern on dose popped in my head <------- mainly by the fact that I have a bottle of EQ in place of what was always just a 2nd bottle of test all the times before, see?
Anyway.....I certainly appreciate ALL the thoughts and comments so farI'm no more an expert than the next guy, so I'm all ears regardless if I agree or not
Thanks!

Well all of my cycles (since age 25 when I started my first one) have been significantly spaced apart completely because the availablility of gear.......until this past 10 months, all of my stuff was found here in my local area, and the sources were never anyone I was necessarily close with, so gear came and went very sparatically.....doing 2 seperate cycles close together (in order to take 2 steps forward vs just 1) was never a possibility for me, so I naturally my weight has been a rollar coaster ride with a 20-25lb span.
I have zero "thick" genetics and I'm naturally lean (not pencil skinny, just thin/average).......even at 31, my stomach looks as flat as it did when I was 17.....so, the sort of real diet that my genetics demand (to actually hold the extra 20lbs year round) would simply be hard for me to stick to.
I actually look pretty decent considering how I don't practice a text-book diet and the fact that I'm thin by nature. I'm not trying to ever compete or anything anyway.....just for once in my life I'd like to see what I can make happen with 2nd or 3rd cycle taken soon after the previous (within a year) in order to carry my potential into the 190's or maybe even 200lbs (my best is 185 so far - test and deca).
As far as protein and food being the most anabolic substance, I definitely agree 100% (even though I don't practice a text-book diet myself)......that's how I feel about whole foods vs shakes.

No need to get it from shakes, but it does make it easier. Protein is very important but overall CALORIES are the most important. Keep track, and eat more, you will get accustomed to it and should be able to keep up the increased eating and maintain your gains after the cycle."Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
