I am getting a bottle of Test E from a friend. He used half the bottle about six months ago. Since then it has been on his shelf. I am concerned about its sterility.
Should I be? Is there a way to make it sterile again?
Thanks

Did your friend use a clean new pin every time he used it? Do you trust him if he told you he did? I believe you could bake it for a little bit but let someone else fill you in on that. Fina is the only stuff I've messed with. Also, if money is not an issue I would get my own gear.

good friend, always uses a fresh needle.
I was more concerned about particles (dust etc) maybe getting into the bottle somehow. I cannot see any actual holes, put I imagine that some must be created when you are withdrawing.

^^^^^ My exact questions.....if you trust him that he's a cautious pin user, then you should be fine. Just clean the rubber top as anyone should always do to begin with.
As long as he knew what he was doing, then the inside of the bottle should still be clean. Nobody's bottles are clean around the rubber nipple after the plastic was popped off.....it's no different than if you were using that bottle a few months prior.
Did he clean the rubber every time he went to draw???? I'd make sure of that definitely.

Thanks guys. I just needed some reaasurance. I feel comfortable with the fact that he used a new pin every time. I was just worried about it sitting out in the open so long.
