I just wanted to post this to show how much the loss of our dear friend is going to affect not only us but the entire nation thanks to the work of his father and his close friends in the senate they are having a congressional hearing regarding the drug. I have included the links to show the details below. So hopefully the loss of our dear friend will save alot of other lives.

Bass you have to click on the Orlando Sentinel link and then apply to become a member. I did it and read the article. His dad is a powerful businessman it appears with ties to politicians. He is being heard and is making an effort to control the oxycontin problem.
im glad to see everyone is showing so much respect for him.
he was a true man, yeah he got addicted to oxy but you cant blame someone for that. and for those of us who have used the drug before know what im talking about. you cannot control this drug it controls you. and geared took steps to try and end his addiction and had some trouble. i have taken oxys for months due to degenerative discs but got off of it becuase of the stories i have heard. and even comming off of it was hell.
i congradulate gear on his strenght and courage. even thou he lost his battle.
