Been off AS for 6 weeks now....

Man....been off all AS completely for 6 weeks or so now. I tried Nolvadex until I ran out. My sex drive went from wanting it every day twice a day to a week goes by and I'm like....sex....what's that? I experienced a "rebound" effect at the 3-4 week mark where I felt really good and the last 3 weeks have been hell. Extremely tired, no sex drive, etc. I had a blood test taken last week and the doc's not back in until the 8th of December to go over it with me. I asked him to do a free and total testosterone check and he's also checking my thyroid and CBC (complete blood count).....Of course I didn't tell him I was on AS for approx 10 months.....I did take a 2 month break in there somewhere but I was bridging with testosterone when I felt low on energy. Oh well.....I'm not starting back up until my body's somewhat back to normal.....Feels like the safe thing to do.

Same thing happened to me, and a buddy of mine. I told the doc, and he didnt. He recieved more help, and I got a big run around. I was off for six months and they were still blaming it on the juice. Whatever you decide, dont tell him what you did. They will give you a big run around. Ill let you know what I learned from my deal...it just takes time to recover. That was the lesson given to me from a horomone specialist after she took thousands of dollars. Oh yeah, and I believe that from experience, things like ephedrine can slow recovery. I doesnt stop me though. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help guys....At least I have Viagra for the times when I sense the wife's complaining...lol I'll keep you posted on the blood test results when they get reviewed by my doctor. Be interesting to see what it shows. He also scheduled me for a treadmill ekg test for Dec 16th because I was complaing of mild chest pain also......Keep ya'll posted.

I had this problem, and a friend recommended Maca, it worked really well for me, gave me energy, definantly increased sex drive, it took a week or so to kick in, so don't expect anything overnight.
