Docs: will AS after surgery hurt recovery?

My bro is getting calf implants. He wants to start a cycle about 4-5 weeks after (will be his 4th cycle). Will AS hurt his surgiucal recovery?

Don't take my word for it because I don't have a fucking clue but I believe some doctors give post surgery patients aas to help speed recovery.... although I can't remember where I read that and it may be total BS.

why so soon after the surgery-is he dealing with some kind of time constraints? i'd wait till fully recovered but that sjust my opinion

Well, he doesnt spend a whole lot of time on legs to begin with but he wants to run a cycle for spring break. Obviously he is only going to work out as much as the anticipated pain will allow him.

I heard that AS helped healing too, but i think the article i read was for gh, and he damn sure doesnt want to mess with gh.

He's going to be running tren/test/var with me, I am starting 1/18 and he was going to start with me if he can.

He's not as concerned with interfering with gains on his cycle as he is with not wanting the AS to interfere with healing. Any doc that can speak to this would be greatly appreciated.

No offense taken at all. I suggested some leg routines but his calfs in all honesty, are lacking, he just doesnt have them, everything else responds to training except those. So to each is own, while you or I may not go that route, his body so whatever works for him. I just want to be able to tell him what some of the docs with experience in AS say about it

In reality this is a question that he needs to ask a real doctor, preferably his own doctor.

Obviously guy is a cosmetic surgeon, they are much much more open to this kind of stuff, many cosmentic surgeons take gh & AS.

Anyways, there's healing issues, infection issues, rejection issues, blood issue's that need to be addressed.

Best to ask doc.

GH or IGF-1 will speed his recovery. Anything else will not have a pronounced effect.

BUt come on.. calf implants? how about he just does some raises.

Yeah, this is true.....there are areas of people's bodies that they either "have" or don't "have", period.
Remember folks?......the strongest factor in Bodybuilding is genetics. He probably just doesn't have calves that will EVER grow to a nice, or large shape regardless of training or gear.
I can relate to this, and I'm sure MANY others in here can too if they choose to admit. I have lean genetics that give me the ability to eat dogshit if I choose, and still be vascular But on the other hand, I wasn't blessed with broad hams, quads. I feel lucky that I have a half-way decent calf shape/size (NOT big, but not tiny either). Chest is another good example.....some guys are built barrel-chested, and some aren't.
Training and diet will only go so far before genetics jump in and say: "ugh ugh ughhhh.....you won't develop that muscle, forget it" (because the natural shape is simply non-existant).

Plastic surgery?........expensive, but I can see where he's coming from
