Let's put it another way, leaving the $ aside, is the QV stuff comparable to making your own? I don't have alot of free time and have two kids running around my house, so finding a good time to make my own might be tough.

yeah i guess it would be ,but all it atles is like 30 min to filter thats it and ofcourse letting it sit overnight to setle .
