abcess,possibly?

hi all,

did a shot of test cypionate and eq around 5cc into right glute a couple of days ago,this morning i noticed a nice sized lump around the inj site that feels very tender,i am also getting hot flushes down the right leg?now i am used to lumps of oil that dont dissipate straight away and the pain is in line with that,its the hot flushes i am concerned about.for those that have expierienced abcesses could it possibly be one starting or am i just worrying for nothing?

stupidity and pain is a 5cc shot into the lower quad,i couldnt walk for 2 weeks

A friend of mine had the same thing and they had to amputate both his legs and most of his dick.... j/k

It would only become a problem if there was some kind of bacterial infection, sounds like you just put too much oil in at the same time, nothing to worry about

used to the pain of oil but i heard when you get all hot its usually an infection or your about to get laid:p

If you get a fever, you have an infection. Go to a doc if that happens. It wouldn't hurt to take an antibiotic either.

5cc's sounds crazy. I had an incident a few weeks ago, where I was injecting 2 cc's into the glute, I didn't use a long enough pin, if that wasn't bad enough it wasnt straight in but on an angle. ( i hate glute shots)

I had a medium sized lump for about 5 days. Like you said it was warm to the touch and the immediate area around it.

That warm lump can be caused by either not going deep enough on the shot or from injecting with too much of an angle.

Its happened to quite a few people. If its not gone in a week though, you might have an infection. So keep a close eye.

this morning the heat has gone ,but lump remains.i have done 6cc before in my glute no problems,suppose it just hasnt dissapated yet,read a post not to long ago where someone mentioned there will be no doubt if you have an abcess,so a bit more confidant

unfortunatly my test cypionate is 200mg/2ml vial and a 200mg/ml eq,i only use quads and right glute(seriously cant reach left one)so my inj are around 5cc 3 x a week.have shot 6cc in upper quad no problem(sounds like bdtr,i am just not nearly as big:p )

wow, i don't do more than 3 cc's into my glute, and 2 cc's max into my quad. ur brave. hope everything works out ok

ok,

been 13 odd days and still there,it has reduced greatly in size and is not nearly as painfull,it gets uncomfortable when i sleep on it,so i am just going to ride it out and hope my body gets rid of it.not to keen to run to the doctor if its got better

Why not get the higher dosed gear like the 500mg/ml EQ or 300mg cyp. Its easier on the ass. Also, are you shooting the needle deep enough? If you use 1.5 inch needle, inject almost all the way in. If you don't inject deep enough your body will not disapate the oil fast enough and you will get a bigger lump. Don't shoot in the same injection area next time, move it over about 3 inches or more if doing same area. I have had these also, but never 5cc at a time in one shot! Problem is you have too much oil in one area. IMO I would not do this much in the same shot again.
