Someone brought up a very good point in another thread about tearing up the stopper with a 20g or larger needle. Now I have only used amps in the past, but how bad can this get on larger vials. And doesnt that worry you that your gear is no longer sterile and is open to the environment?
What's everyone opinions and experience. Thanks.

The stopper on my vials get to a point where if there is a pressure difference between the inside and outside, you can hear the vacuum/pressure being released through the stopper when you remove the pin. It will do considerable damage after a while. I have my own crimpers, though, and usually put a new stopper on the vial and recrimp it if necessary. C & C has a good idea if this is not an option for you, but for most 10ml vials, and even 20ml for that amtter, it's not a huge problem, just something to think about when buying pins.
Thanks, this isnt talked about that often but makes a lot of sense. I have a 30ml vial of prop/susp and will probably switch half of it over to a new bottle.

If it's a big batch like Fina or a jug of test eth I will buy 10 ml sealed vials from researchkits. They are only couple bucks a piece, which is pretty cheap when it comes to my health.
