how do tou guys fell about hairloss products, are they a waste of money

Most of them are a waste of money...
Minoxidil and proscar/********/finasteride are the only ones actually proven to work, atleast to some degree. Proscar will mainly help with maintenance of existing hair. Minoxidil MAY or may not help with re-growth.
Other topical anti-androgens such as spironolactone, RU58841, fluridil, etc may be worth a shot. I use finasteride 1.25mg/d, minoxidil 5% nightly, spiro 5% nightly, saw palmetto 320mg/d, MSM 2-3 grams/d, and l-arginine 2 grams/d. Seems like a lot but it really isn't. I buy proscar and cut it into quarters---much cheaper this way. Three minoxidil 5% 60ml bottles from Wal-Mart are only $25. Spiro 5% from Nizoralman is around $25 (I only use on the temples so it lasts a very long time). SP, MSM, and l-arginine are available at Wal-Mart and very inexpensive. -
