Did anyone else happen to see the penalties that are going to be imposed by MLB for those testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs? LoL...whatta joke. The first penalty, if I recall correctly, is education and clinical help or something along those lines. Plus the player's name is not revealed. Then it's something like 15 game suspension the second time, 30 game the third time and so on.

I have no problem with athletes using. Hell, I use so it would be hypocrital for me to condemn others. I just found the penalties to be a complete and utter joke. I mean, why even bother. MLB wants to look like they're doing something, but in actuality they're just making themselves look foolish. They should just leave well enough alone IMO and just go on pretending no one uses anything.

well ill say while i played it was very easy to use and readily available. many of my teammates used. when we are talking about millions of dollars here it is very hard not to. they want the long ball. its about money man. i remember durning one off season they basically told i needed to gain a good 20lbs if i wanted to play next year. Do what ever you have to do "wink, wink" it was crazy

Anyways baseball is going to start testing for steroids. I wanted to get a feel for the general thoughts out there on this issue.

My feelings are that until steroids are legal for everyone there should be testing. Now if AS were legal I would completely change my mind. But there are many athletes who deserve the right to play who do not want to break the law. And I believe this is completely legitimate. "


Okay this is my thought. I am curious to how others feel.
