  • Insulin users: diabetic jewelry

If you use/abuse insulin, you might consider picking up a diabetic bracelet or neck chain at your local pharmacy. They don't cost much and could save your life. I put one on during the risky hours of the day, just in case. Always have some candy on hand too.

They are cheap, and don't even look too stupid. I've seen some on the web that are made of real silver. You could call it diabetic bling bling! If none of your friends/family know your on slin, I'd wear one for sure.

Ya, I guess you'd have to hide the jewelry from your friends and family if your already hiding your slin use. You should let at least one person you hang around know that your using slin, they might end up saving you with some sweets someday.
