  • Cycle during sports season??

    Hey guys i'm pondering doing my first cycle, and if I do, it will be in early december, which also happens to be right in the heart of my hockey team's season. I plan on running 500mg/wk test (wk 1-10) and 30mg/day dbol (wk 1-4). I'm wondering how much this is going to effect my ability to skate/shoot...etc.



    All input is appreciated...thanks!

    I have no hockey experience, so I can't tell you specifics about that. I can tell you that your athleticism will be different. By the end of the season, you should be able to skate with more power, and add just a bit to your shot. Of course, if you inject in your quad and it gets sore for a few days, skating is going to be hellish.

      i was somewhat wondering this also..

      since i will be doing a cycle to become stronger for the upcomming season..

      would it just be more beneficial to be in Mid-cycle...during the season...as to have my maximum strength levels?

          i think you will notice some more power and speed but i would maybe think about something other than dbol. when i'm on dbol my calves get so frickin pump i can't do much.

              Its better during the season, makes you alittle more aggressive. It might just be psychological, but its still an advantage. I play rugby and do it during the season. You might wanna save the dbols and just do the test tho, still get great results for a first cycle.

                  you might be different but when i did them i got really bloated, gained probly 20 pounds but was all water. its not really a good feeling when your on skates, especially when your doing the stuff to give you an advantage. if its your first cycle you'll get great results from just the test.

                      It is very tough to do it all... lift at that intense level and play a sport.. espesially if you go to school..Becarful of getting sick.. I would be wary of cycling during a season.. But it will deffinately give you an advantage.. I would say make sure you get enough sleep and hit some b12 and vit C and a multi and you should be fine ... best of luck -j

                        i'd recomend using in the offseason because you really can't focus on hitting the gym when u have a full schedule with practices and games. it would make u stronger during the season, i just think that you'd get more out of it off season. good luck and let us know what u decide

                          while it's true that he won't be able to hit the gym, being on cycle while training for his sport will improve that sport. It's not exactly the same as a swimmer or runner doing gear during the season, but the parrallels are there.

                            dbol is probably the worst roid ever for hockey, i used to play alot of hockey but not when i was juicing -when your skating your not in an upright position, i think this idea combined with dbol pumps would give u some real annoying lower back pumps when your on the ice... plus u would be getting real dehadrated when playing hockey and need to be drinking tons of water and have to piss halfway through every period, and u would also be SO hungry halfway through the game it would be unbearable, there are so many reasons i wouldnt do roids during the hockey season i could go on forever
