Has anyone ever changed there user name and had any problems getting people to know him? I have had the same name GetBig for 2.5 years and was thinking that it is time to come up with something with a bit more spunk. Would anyone suggest against it? I mean it is just a name, the person behinf the name is the key point right?
Just pondering on it.
Any thoughts?
I wouldn't...................... you build a rep with your name....... It's not like we see you in person to confirm it's really you either. I wouldn't do it
You are not alone, half of us do not like screen names, me included.
trip the name of my dog I had forever who passed away, the day I signed in, it was only thing popped into my head, never knowing years later............
Oh well, the again, change is not bad, so if you really want to, heck I'd do it.
thanks for the input, a lot of good thoughts here. I guess I should stick to it, but as I sit here, a lot of cool names come to me, but I guess GetBig is how it started so I will let it be.
I've been known at IX since day one and I wouldn't change it(thought about it but decided not too)I've build up a good rep since I've been on these boards so why fix something that aint broke
Yeah i really wish that i would have picked another username. But like TheMudMan said, "you build a rep with your name". I really don't wanna loose what little i have so far.
