well, theres no stupid questions i hear
I am just curious, it's obviously quite more cost effective to buy a 50ml "jug" of qv. .. my only question is, can i use it for several cycles? I mean, with all that sticking the needl ein the top i kinda worry about it not getting any bacteria in it. Any suggestions? thanks.

wipe the tip of the vial with alcohol EVERY time before u stick a needle into it... also store it in a clean container when ur not using it... all of my 10ml vials for example i keep in my empty vitamin bottles... great camouflage, plus it will keep the top and the vial somewhat clean... -
you have 2 options;
1. you must use it all in one cycle
2. use what you were originally planning to use and send the rest to me.

you can use it over and over agin , when your done with a cycle put it in a zip lock bag and get all the air out for storage..Comment

this is obvious to most of us, but maybe not to you..........
make sure you dont re-use the same pin over and over. they're cheap enough that you can afford a new setup each time you shoot, and whether you soak them in alchohol or not, its a risky move at best...........

The only problem with the 50ml jug is that eventually with all the needle marks, you're going to tear the stopper to pieces and possible infect the oil with outside particles and pieces of rubber.Comment

this is also why the suggestion to split the oil up into 2-3 sterile vials is a good one.......

if u want to prevent the little holes in the stopper, use smaller gauges... like 22g should be perfectly fine.. even a 23g will work (just takes bit longer)Comment

exactly what i was affraid of happening, i was planning on taking my time, sense i'm in no hurry and just using a 23g needle (i know it will take forever) but i figure hopefully it won't get ripped to pieces. .Originally posted by bdtr
