WU is fine and you don't need an ID under 1k, if they hassle you go to another location. Be nice and tell them you are doing this for a friend and you don't have ID. If they ***** tell them your friend is in a wheel chair and can not make it in himself. It always works for me.
God bless and RIP GearedUp and Big Jim

Salvation is a free gift all you have to do is ask

Sorry to burst some bubbles on this one...but! I had $1500 insured and sent overnight TO me overnight which is trackable.
Tracking number made it to the local airport it was sent in and was not scanned in at the major airport I was living by.
Postal inspection said it must of disappeared at one of the two airports! DUH, no shit Einstein.
Said somebody must have seen the money while ex-raying the envelop and took it for themselfs. Wow, sounds like he must be straight from Scotland yard!

By the way I don`t sound bitter do I?

What was the most he could do to find the money...Cross your fingers that it shows was his solution...Of,course it was insured so not to worry. Well that was over 6 months ago and I`m still fighting with those A**holes at USPS.

As a side note now is the time of year that 1000`s of "Temps" are hired every year for X-mas. with nothing to lose. Food for thought. Rant over

The post office will pay out exactly jack-shit. Certified mail or not - it is illegal to mail cash in the US.

If you send something in Holland and pay extra for it (insurance), they will always pay you a certain amount (depending on what you paid extra) of money if it is lost.

Does this bother anyone besides me? Do you guys feel safe giving out your real name?
Maybe I have missed something really really obvious but...

You have to give ur real name anyway when it is posted to you, so does it matter that you have to give it to WU...?

Whenever it's over $1000 CDN = $800 US they always need a Driver's Licence for WU or MG. But that's only way my guy will take money.

why do you have to give your real name when its sent to you? maybe things are different in the UK, but in the US mail will be deliveried to an address no matter what the name is in most situations.

So, when you go to send the money, you mail off several different envelopes to the same place??? That doesn't look "funny" to them?
                        Not picking.....just wanna know.

The best way to send money in the mail is in between sheets of paper.. you put 50 above and 50 below and use a manilla envelope. They can't xray through that.

if you have to send over $1,000 on your order...you can just send the money under $1,000 in multiple transactions..I.E if your order is $2,000 send it in three wires

anything under $999 can be picked up without an ID by using the test question and answer....if your order is over $999 then send multiple transfers. been doing that for 3-4 years without any problems.
