Check your injection techniques! Also, you might want try injecting in the center portion of your quads, alittle off towards the outside of the leg(not too much though). I've injected the lower area of my quad muscles and i get more pain from it.

Go to http://www.spotinjections.com for more help

You didn't do anything wrong bro, and I doubt if you hit a nerve....if it was your first shot, your fascia are not used to being stretched by the oils you injected, so you're going to experience PAIN from the foreign substance you put into your body....

I had the same thing from the sust I took first go 'round....take ibuprofin or aleve and take comfort in the fact that they'll get easier to bear with each shot....

Maybe if you didn't shake like a ***** while you were injecting it would not hurt so bad!

          j/k

Hope your feeling better bro - they will get easier. Right quad on Monday!

happens to the best of us. the injection site shown is on the side of the quad, but we found that if you put it closer to the top of your quad, and if you use your finger to push "hard" on the site before you inject, to see if the area is tender, if you feel a "twinge" then thats not a good spot. if that doesn't work, sleep with a heating pad on it.
              good luck it gets easier
