Not always true bro, there are alot of legit sources out there that are doing a fine job in serving our great community. But it is true that its taking a chance by going that route, alot like running straight looking down...

To answer the original question, i used their services a long time ago and what you get is not gear but informations. Infos on where you can get the gear from (supposedly) trusted/tested sources. I personally had a good experience with them and don't regret my move. However, they're not giving you any informations you cannot find on your own, trust me. Just read the board(s) and ask around.
