Hey,whats up everybody.I was workin out some frustrations at the gym and went to heavy on the squats. I f---ed up my neck and back.I just got out of the hospital, they replaced a disc in my neck with new bone,a plate and some screws.I have to recuperate for three months and I go back in for the same(3 discs)on my lower back.I guess,Im trying to tell everybody,be carefull, more is not always better, you can get hurt.Has anyone else had these surgeries?what can I expect? Is there any exercise I can do to maintain myself?? i had a lapindectomy of the L5/S1, and i have a bulging disk in my neck that flares up on occasion. i got both from squats also. i was out of the gym for about 6 weeks post surgery, but it took about 8-12 weeks to fully recover. i squat pretty light now, but go heavy on the leg press. it sux bro...mine wasn't near as bad as yours sounds. best of luck man!The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Thanx bros, the surgery definetly sucked, its a hell of a way to get some time off from work. The doc told me a recovery of 7-12 months. The bar put so much pressure on my neck,I saw stars and then I was out like a light. How I didnt get killed,I dont know?I woke up in the emergency room, the rest is history.Well,at least I fitnessgeared to spend my time.I should become a Mod. by time Im recovered.
