The more carbon atoms an ester has, the more lipid soluble the molecule becomes. You can conclude from this that the more carbon atoms an ester has, the greater the half-life the molecule will have. This is because the rate at which the test molecule is transferred from the lipid environment to the water in the blood is decreased.
Half life is shortened to 10-14 days with Enan from Cyp. 17-21
Now for potency- Total ester weight has to be accouted for when measuring potency. Adding more carbons to the ester increases total molecular weight. So on a mg/mg basis, one could say that since enanthate has only 7 carbons in its ester, and cyp has 8 carbon atoms, the enanthate molecule would contain more test.
On a molecular weight mg/mg, I think Enan render 2.8mg more per cc. so it really isn't that much of a difference.
Bang for the buck, your going to get 250mg Enan for cheaper than 200mg Cyp so Enan is the obvious choice(barring the consideration of availability)
