And yes, test is high in that age range. But if you read the study it only decreases by about 1% per year. There is a negligible difference between the test of a 20 yr. old and the test of a 30 yr. old. There is a difference yes, but it has been WAY overexagerated. I've consistently seen people directly say that teens have as much testosterone as an older steroid user. Now not everyone says this, but the ones who do are sorely wrong. Not to mention it really bothers me that most people arbitrarily pick 21 as the minimum age to start, and say ARE YOU CRAZY to someone who's 18. Hell, 21 is when natural test is highest! I just don't see the HUGE physical difference between 18 and 21.

Ahhhhh.........you had a "bone age" test done. Measures the growth plates in your extremity joints.

As far as 18 vs 21......I personally would group these ages into one (in terms of juicing or not juicing).
But to say that 20 vs 30 is only a few %age points away, I have a hard time believing.
Think about how pro football players (or any intense sport) are considered old once in their 30's.
(by the way, Im 31......but yes, my dick still works COMPLETELY fine )

I think it's those few percentage points that really makes a difference. My dick works fine too. But, not like when I was 18-21. God I miss those days. LOL.

            Or not.

Just because one person experienced something...doesn't mean another will experience the same thing.

The point is this. You are still in your developing stages during your teenage years. Messing with you hormones...and shutting your test production OFF at that age (by using steroids) CAN...(please notice I said "CAN") cause a problem with test production for the rest of your life. It's not likely...but it CAN happen in some teens..depending on the person (we all mature at different rates)..and depending on the amount and frequency of the steroid use. I've come across two people that have experienced this. They juiced in high school and now have low test levels years after because of it. It doesn't happen to all teens...it doesn't happen to most...but my point is....I wouldn't want to take that risk and I refuse to advise anyone else to do so.
We're all happy you turned out well....we really are. But I don't want teens to get the wrong idea just because you're singing the praises of your steroid use in highschool.

Please understand I mean this as no flame.. I just really want to get this point across.
ya i agree, teens readin these boards are waiting for a chance to justify their use....

there is just no need to juice in ur teens unless u have no desire for maximizing ur own testosterones muscle mass potential. U have enough testosterone to make very good gains w/ out juice but i guess if u arent dedicated with diet and correct training then juice would help.

I just think it's hipocritical to tell a teen that juicing is dangerous when the same guys juice themselves (who said it's safe at any age?), use T3, clenbuterol, DNP, insulin, GH, IGF-1, this mystery compound that GearedUp is promoting, etc. For heavens sake, half of us here have injected ourselves with a homemade solution made with cattle implants. It seems so common place now, but think about how stupid that probably is (BTW, I'm not trying to create a fina or other homebrew debate, just pointing out).

you build up to those compounds! I never took anything harse untill i had like 4 cycles under my belt. I tell "teens" at my gym to lay off juice untill there old enough, and I will continue to say that. Yeh, its cool to be big in high school, and want to reach your goals, but you have to be patient!
                    RIP - Geared
                    RIP - BigJ

                      The graph is nonsense IMO.

Notice that the graph is NOT referenced, unlike nearly everything else in the article. What can we deduce from that? Well to me it says that the graph was simply drawn to give a basic idea to the casual observer, and is not meant to be taken literally. When the article makes points that people might check up on, we notice that it references those points. As it should do.

Read what it says above the graph.

"The normal serum ranges of testosterone in a healthy teenager are between 500 ng/dL and 750 ng/dL, a lifetime high"

Teenager. Ages 13 to 19 is a teenager. Your test levels are at a lifetime high when you're a teenager.

This is not what the graph shows, however. So which is right? The writing or the graph?

I don't think we can take either graph or writing to mean anything at all, as neither is referenced. Since we cannot check up on that info, it might as well have been made up by an aforementioned teenager LOL.

youre right, of course the graph is not based on measurements, there wouldnt be a perfectly straight line from 10 to 20 years.
anyways, the point is that your hormones peak in your late teens and early 20's, not just test!

You'll get a pic when I get done cutting. Chill. And BTW, I already said I'm not huge. 5'10'' 210 lbs before I started dieting. But, I also said that I've accomplished my personal goals.

And BTW, what does it matter if someone doesn't look good to you? Shouldn't it be their opinion of theirself that really matters?

Despite what other members have posted, i appreciate the help u have put forward Anotheruser. I agree w/ everything u have said. It all comes down to the individual not the age. They talk about makeing a new law that u must be 18 to get a driver's license in order to minimize accidents, well i know some 18 year olds who are very mature and others like 12 year olds. And also it has been shown that the myth of such a testosterone difference and the growth stunting aren't as big a problem as belived. So again i repeat it comes down to the individual. And to base someone's dedication, understanding and overall competence soli on age is wrong.

im just saying just because you think that everything is going good for you doesnt mean its good to start at a young age.

no one will ever convince me that it is a good idea. the longer you wait the better.

but your just like me no patients HAHA
