reconstituting igf

if reconstituted igf is sold at 1mg/ml (1000mcg/ml) then adding 1mg BA should yield 1mg/2ml or .5mg/ml or 500mcg/ml correct?

i see some people on other boards are saying adding 1ml of BA to 1mg/ml of reconstituted igf yields 333mcg/ml.

did i fail math or are there other factors involved here?
