The main point the article seems to be making is that IGF can increase the risk of cancer. This is true!

But as I'm sure we're all aware, there are many drugs in a bbers arsenal which can increase the risk of cancer.

Clomid, nolva, d-bol, test, GH. Most of what we use for performance enhancement can increase the risks of cancer.

So the article is taking things a bit out of context. There are risks involved with most of the drugs we use.

Personally, I don't think IGF is any more risky than many of the drugs we use.

    My 2p.

Any article from Tmag should be taken with a grain of salt.

It can not cause cancer, but can cause existing cancer to grow at a faster rate, just like growth.

I agree hell the government even says certain sugars cause cancer pretty soon purified water will be a cause of cancer!

I have taken GH for years and never any cancer, GH is supposed to turn into IGF-1 so I eould think it would be safer

I consider LA to be one of the top experts on IGF-1 on these boards and he has done enough research on this stuff more then most so I would trust his word over some T-mag bullshitter anyday, like everyone said that is there is NO and that is the key word NO evidence that is causes cancer so until there is some proof that it does I'm calling that article bullshit.

If your worried about this Bull, then I suggest taking some time and researching as much as you can, yoiur already started just keep at it until your convienced that its safe or not.

ok here is an example , dunno if u saw it on MM or not but this dude tried it and says this:

"I took IGF-1 a long time ago and it quickly gave me pancreatitus. very painful and potentially life threatening."

                here is the thread

again IX i guess we gota agree to disagree on this subject, because personaly i wouldnt risk my life because a board memeber or mod or who ever says its safe. best of luck to all the users, i hope its side effect free so i can use it too, but till then ill stick to my AS stack..

Yeah but he didn't specify what type it was and judging by what he said that he took it a long time ago which means he must have taken regular IGF-1 on top of that he didn't specify how long and I bet any amount that he took it for a long period of time espeically if it was regular IGF-1.And did he ever find out that it was 100% related to IGF-1.

So far bro I've been seeing a lot of people taking it with little or no bad sides to report,I wouldn't take this for a long time anyway it's not something I would take for a long period of time but one or two small cycles shouldn't hurt in the long run.

I'm not trying to convience you to try it Bull I'm just giving my .02 on the subject.

Yes you do but regular IGF-1 you had to take it for a long time because the half life was very small and you had to take it quite a lot for a while just to see results but LR3 you don't.

Remember the guy who posted that on MM was girth brooks under another name. Both names have been banned and he's never taken IGF either. Never trust a word he says.

Should have the EXACT same side effects as GH.

                            Geared,
Why do you think IGF-1 is more safe than GH? GH on its own doesn't do a whole hell of a lot. All of it's potential side effects are from the elevated IGF-1 levels.

IMHO, that's about like saying that testosterone is more safe to use than 4-androstenediol (pro-hormone).

I could be wrong, but I don't follow your logic on this one.

that guy who said it gave him pancreatitus is so full of shit it isn't funny.

how would you know that the igf is responsible for that? look at some of his other posts he just put off the wall stuff there.
