A question regarding syringe, and pin size ??

hey bud's hows goin'..listen um..Im about to start up my bulking cycle this monday, my gear has arrived so I need to get some syringes with needles or pins..however you call 'em.. now i have few questions, and I hope you'll help me out on this one..

I'll be doing QV gear, QV Enanthat 250/10ml with QV Deca 300/10ml...I'll be injecting twice a week...Monday and Thursday... I'll mix those two together so..1cc of Enanthat and .5cc of Deca in the same syringe..do you see any problems with this plan ??

Now let me ask these questions..for best results should I just inject in my glutes or inject everywhere..like biceps/triceps/quads/glutes/delts etc..or should I just inj. in glutes, also if you say that I should only inject into glutes, then should I change between right ass cheek and left one..? or just stick to a right glute..this question is very important..and finally I read on spotinjections.com they say you should use 22 or 23 guage with 1.5 pin ideal for glutes..can I also use this for delts/biceps if I need to inject..like I asked in first question above....if everything is alright should I order this type of syringe/needle from getpinz.com

Yuppers....23g 1.5 inch is perfect...and yes alternate the glutes.

There's no benifit to injecting in bi's, tris, or delts other than having more options as far as injection sites go. So if you were to be injecting every day...well then you'd need to use those other places...but since you're just injecting twice a week...alternate cheeks and you'll be all set!

25 ga/1.5" for everything. Less scar tissue and pain then 23ga. I have shot 400mg/ml through it no problem

Here is my advice after a lot of trial and error:


The 3cc syringes are fine... but it would be best if you can get a syringe that will let you "switch out" the needle...

For glute injections, I would recommend 25 gauge, 1 inch needles. The problem with these needles is that it takes some time to "draw up" your gear into them. Here's the solution: also get 21 gauge needles and use these to draw up your gear into the syringe, next, take off that 21 G and pop on the 25 G. Make sure you get rid of any air bubbles. You can also "roll" the syringe in your fingers to heat up the gear a little bit.

Personally, I have ONLY alternated between left and right glutes and made sure I had slightly different insertion points each time. I do not inject a lot of gear (only twice per week) so I have never had the need to go any other sites. I've used a 25 G on the QV E and it's not a problem for injecting... just make sure you take your time... it could take up to a minute and a half to fully inject 1cc of QV E if you take a nice slow pace. Make sure you're nice and relaxed.


To summarize:

Get syringes that allow you to switch out the needles.

Get both 21 G and 25 G needles (make sure you have plenty!)

DO NOT REUSE YOUR NEEDLES (why take the chance?)

Draw up your gear into the syringe with the 21 G.

Switch to the 25 G needle (be patient and careful!)

Get rid of all visible bubbles by flicking the sides of the syringe

Get rid of air by pushing plunger, gear should stream down side

Roll the syringe between your fingers to heat up the gear a bit

Clean area (upper, outer quadrant of glute) with swab + alcohol

Push needle slowly into site while inhaling

Asperate (make sure blood doesn't pool into syringe, if so, STOP)

Slowly pump the gear into your arse

Take out needle (fast or slow, doesn't matter)

Swab + Alcohol (fresh) the site + pressure

Throw on a band-aid

Lastly, you can massage the site if you want to.

Alternate between glutes and slightly change you injection site

23g 1 inch pins for the delts are better than 1.5 inch in IMO.

I agree totally with striated, you could even use 18g to draw faster but if you have a big jug you might tear the stopper up too much over its life. Pushing the pin through the stopper also dulls it a little bit, so does hitting the bottom of the vial if you're going for that last little bit, but by switching needles after you draw you are guaranteed a razor sharp point every time.
